This privacy policy explains how AppForge Digital handles information in the mobile game Rift Protocol.
Rift Protocol stores your unlocked sectors, star ratings and best scores per sector locally on the device. This information is used only to remember your game progress and never leaves your device — AppForge Digital cannot see, access or recover it.
Rift Protocol does not collect names, email addresses, account information, precise location, contacts or other personal information. The game does not require an account.
Rift Protocol shows interstitial ads (full-screen ads shown at natural breaks between rounds — after a game ends or after completing a sector, never during active play) using Google AdMob, part of Google's Mobile Ads SDK.
To select, deliver and measure these ads, the AdMob SDK running inside the app collects and shares the following with Google:
This is separate from, and unrelated to, your gameplay data described above: your sector progress, ratings and scores are never sent to Google or included in any ad request. AppForge Digital does not operate its own advertising or analytics servers — Google's AdMob service handles ad delivery and measurement directly.
Your device's own settings let you limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier (for example, in Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads, or iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking/Apple Advertising). You can learn more about how Google collects and uses data through AdMob at Google's own Partner Sites policy.
Rift Protocol does not contain any other analytics, tracking technology or third-party SDK beyond AdMob, and does not track players across other apps or websites.
AppForge Digital does not sell, rent or share your locally stored gameplay data with third parties, because that data never leaves your device and never reaches us. The one category of sharing that does occur is via the AdMob advertising SDK described above.
Rift Protocol uses network access to request and display AdMob ads. Beyond ad delivery, the game makes no other network calls, uses no other live services, and loads no other content from the internet at runtime.
Players can remove locally stored game data by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app. Uninstalling removes progress unless the operating system restores app data from a device backup.
Rift Protocol is a general-audience puzzle game and is not specifically directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
If the game’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the relevant feature is released.
