Dragonbloom privacy policy

Effective date: 5 October 2026

Dragonbloom is a dragon arena game provided by AppForge Digital. This policy explains how the Android and iOS apps handle information. Contact us at admin@appforgedigital.com.au with privacy questions or requests.

Playing and saving progress

You do not need to provide a name, email address or password to play. Your scores, lifetime light, unlocked dragons, rewards and settings are stored on your device. Clearing the app's storage, or deleting the app, removes that local progress. Rivals in solo play are computer-controlled; no other people are involved.

Optional cloud backup

Settings offers an optional cloud backup. It is off until you turn it on. When enabled, the app creates an anonymous guest identity with our Supabase backend and stores your progress (scores, lifetime light, runs, achievement bests, reward claims and tutorial completion) under that identity. No email address, name or password is collected. The backup is tied to the app installation on that device: it is not an account you can sign in to elsewhere, and if the app's data is cleared the old backup can no longer be reached. You can pause backup at any time from Settings, which stops further syncing. Delete cloud backup in Settings permanently erases the stored backup and the guest identity from our backend straight away; progress on your device is kept. You can also ask us to delete it using the contact details below.

Purchases

The game is free and offers an optional, one-time Remove Ads purchase through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Google or Apple handles payment details. AppForge Digital does not receive your full card details.

We use RevenueCat to verify purchases and restore the ad-free unlock. RevenueCat processes a generated app-user identifier, purchase records and purchase status, along with technical information needed to operate its service. We use these records to provide and restore purchases, handle refunds, prevent fraud and understand purchase activity.

Advertising

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob: a banner on the home screen and an occasional full-screen ad after a finished run. To deliver and measure ads Google may process your IP address, approximate location inferred from it, device and advertising identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information. On iOS the app asks for permission before using the advertising identifier for tracking; if you decline, ads are still shown without cross-app tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. A verified Remove Ads purchase stops the game from showing ads.

Online play

Online play is optional: nothing connects to our game server unless you open Play online. You can create a private room and share its seven-character invite code or link, join a room with a code, or join a public lobby that anyone using the game can see. Matches run on our own game server, hosted by Fly.io in Sydney, Australia.

Other players in the same room see a randomly generated dragon name (for example “MossDrift”), the dragon style you equip, your ready status and your dragon's movement, score and results in that match. There is no chat, free-text name, profile, friends list or messaging, and you cannot send anything else to other players.

To run a match the server processes your IP address (to connect you and to limit abuse such as too many rooms or join attempts), a random session token so you can reconnect after a brief drop, and your in-match inputs. These are kept in the server's memory only while you are connected or for a short time afterwards (rooms end after at most two hours) and are not stored in a database or linked to your cloud backup, purchases or advertising identifiers. Online matches do not change your solo progress or unlocks.

Children and families

Dragonbloom is a general-audience game without chat, contact lists, precise location or photo features; online play only shows generated names. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and a parent or guardian can contact us about a child's information.

Providers, security and retention

Our service providers include Google Play, the Apple App Store, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Supabase and Fly.io (which hosts the online game server in Sydney). They process information for the purposes described above and may process it in countries outside Australia. Network requests to our backend, game server and purchase services use encrypted connections (HTTPS / secure WebSockets). Cloud backups are protected so that each guest identity can only read and write its own record.

We retain cloud backups until you delete them in Settings, ask us to delete them, or the guest identity is removed. Online match data is not retained after the room ends. We retain purchase records as needed to support purchases and restoration, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. Operational records are retained as needed to run and protect the service. Provider retention periods may differ. We do not sell your information.

Your choices and requests

You can play without enabling cloud backup or using online play, delete a cloud backup from Settings, choose not to purchase, and clear local app storage through your device settings (or delete and reinstall the app). Contact admin@appforgedigital.com.au to request access, correction or deletion of information we can identify as yours, or to raise a privacy complaint. Include “Dragonbloom” and a description of your request. For a purchase-related request, a Google Play order reference or App Store receipt may help us locate the record; never send card details or passwords. We may need additional information to verify your request. Some records may need to be retained for purchase restoration, disputes or legal obligations. Deleting data does not itself refund a purchase.

Read the providers' policies: Google, Apple, RevenueCat, and Supabase.

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change and will update the effective date above.
